Capture Properties Bean documentation

Bean name - Name of the bean.
Capture register - Capture register.
Timer counter - Counter register of the timer (for information only).
Capture input pin - Input capture pin (or internal signal).
Capture input signal - Signal name of the capture input pin.
Pull resistor - Setting of pull resistor.
There are 6 options:
- no pull resistor: Input without pull resistor is required
- pull up: Input with pull-up resistor is required
- pull down: Input with pull-down resistor is required
- pull up or no pull: Input with pull-up resistor is preferred, but no-pull is acceptable
- pull down or no pull: Input with pull-down resistor is preferred, but no-pull is acceptable
- autoselected pull: There are no special requirements for pull resistors
Edge - Types of the signal edges that are captured.
There are 4 options:
- rising or falling edge: One of the following edge type will be selected: rising or falling
- rising edge: Rising edge required
- falling edge: Falling edge required
- both edges: Both edges (rising and falling) required
Interrupt service/event - Bean uses the interrupt service for the capture function. Events OnCapture and OnOverflow are available only if Interrupt service is enabled.
- Capture interrupt - Interrupt associated with the capture (for information only).
- Capture priority - Priority of the interrupt associated with the capture.
- Settings supported for HC08, HCS08, HCS12(X) derivatives only.
  - Overflow support - Overflow interrupt support. Driven by enabling/disabling of OnOverflow event (for information only).
    - Overflow interrupt - Interrupt associated with free running counter (for information only).
    - Overflow priority - Priority of the interrupt associated with the free running counter.
Prescaler - Prescaler selected for the capture.
- Internal prescaler - Internal prescaler value.
  This item is valid only if the prescaler above is selected internal peripheral (such as for example timer) and this peripheral allows additional settings. This HW feature is supported only for several CPU architectures.
- Internal compare - Internal compare prescaler value.
  This item is valid only if the prescaler above is selected internal peripheral (such as for example timer) and this peripheral allows additional settings. This HW feature is supported only for several CPU architectures.
Maximum time of event - Guaranteed time before timer overflow.
Settings supported for HCS12(X) derivatives only.
- Overwrite - The contents of the related capture or holding registers can be overwritten when a new input capture or latch occurs.
Initialization - Initial settings (after power-on or reset).
- Enabled in init. code - The bean is enabled after a power-on or reset (in initialization code).
- Event enabled - Events enabled in initialization.
CPU clock/speed selection - Settings for the CPU speed modes: identifies whether the bean is supported or not.
- High speed mode - The bean is enabled/disabled in high speed mode.
- Low speed mode - The bean is enabled/disabled in low speed mode.
- Slow speed mode - The bean is enabled/disabled in slow speed mode.
The following items are visible only if integration of Processor Expert with Simulink supported.
- Bean name - Name of the bean.
